As #BCorpFestivalUK draws to a close, we’re reflecting on an inspiring 48 hours. Louder than Words was the largest gathering of B Corp’s in the world, with keynote speakers such as Mary Portas reminding the audience that to make real change we have to leave the B Corp bubble and “go out to the world and show what betterment means.” The overwhelming takeaway was the power of people and that actions speak louder than words. As an agency driven by our passion to creative positive social and environmental change, at GOOD we welcome the call for action and hope that the messages and sentiment shared lead to real systems change. #BCorpFestivalUK #LouderThanWords

We started our week with a celebration of fossil-free advertising with Clean Creatives on Monday evening 🌍 Ahead of #BCorpFestival24, it was great to hear from Sam Narr, on behalf of Clean Creatives & Kibbo Kift and Chris Norman MBE, GOOD's CEO & co-founder. They discussed lobbying B Lab, celebrating the recent decision & shared their hope that the Havas case sets a precedent & the new standards mean no agency can be a B Corp and have fossil fuel & high polluter clients. Last night, our latest work with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association premiered in partnership with ITV's Coronation Street, secured by our media partner MI Media. Marking a heartbreaking moment in the Coronation Street storyline, where character Paul Foreman died in last night's episode, the new 90 second advert and The Love Inside campaign reminds the viewer that Paul's story is a reality for more than 5,000 people across the UK. The Love Inside shows the powerful connection people maintain with their loved ones, despite the devasting impact of the disease. At GOOD we are deeply saddened by the news of Agenda Brown's passing. We worked with Agenda on his New Chieftains project Black Resilience, https://lnkd.in/dDZxTYE, which focused on the experiences of leading black entrepreneurs & cultural influencers in 2020. It was a privilege to work with Agenda on a project that was an "outward expression of positivity in the face of long-term bias and constant obstacles." Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this time.
