Electra’s New 7.5t Flatbed and Box Body Electric Trucks: Empowering Speedy to Deliver Sustainably.   We’ve partnered with Speedy Hire to introduce our newest chassis platform - 7.5t flatbed and box body electric trucks - a major milestone in expanding our capabilities beyond EPTO (Electric Power Take-Off) models. These vehicles are designed to offer Speedy unmatched flexibility and power for sustainable logistics across multiple sectors.     Ben Smith, Managing Director at Electra Commercial Vehicles Ltd, shares:  “With the launch of our smallest in our range flatbed and box body electric trucks, we’re delivering solutions that go beyond EPTO-focused applications. Speedy now benefits from additional payload versatility and extended range, enabling them to deliver goods more sustainably, meet diverse customer needs, and enhance their operational efficiency. These trucks empower businesses to go the extra mile-literally-while cutting emissions and costs.”     Combining payload capacities of over 3 tonnes, class leading battery options of 105 kWh or 140 kWh, with a DC fast charge capability of 150 kW these trucks can charge to 80% in under an hour.
