How can digitalisation reshape healthcare for a more resilient NHS? Last week, our Alan Newman, Partner joined an experienced industry panel facilitated by Future HealthSpaces to discuss the power of digital transformation in responding to evolving priorities in healthcare. The NHS faces unique and layered challenges across finance, workforce, and infrastructure, with digital transformation playing a pivotal piece of the puzzle. With growing demands and limited resources, driving real change in healthcare requires an approach that is both strategic and impactful. As we look to the future, we are reminded that transforming healthcare starts with a strong, collaborative foundation to meet the needs of tomorrow. This week, our Thomas Critchell, Harry Day, Teddy Petken and Sheldon May, proudly celebrated their graduation from London South Bank University having achieved a BEng in Building Services Engineering through their Degree Apprenticeship. 🎓 Their journeys have been different; Teddy, Sheldon and Thomas completed an Advanced Apprenticeship with us before progressing onto the degree, and Harry joined our apprenticeship scheme after completing a BSc in Maths as a full-time university student. Looking back, one of our graduates, Teddy, said: “Since starting at TB+A at the age of 16, I have been waiting for this day to come. After attending my graduation, I can now say I have done it! It was great to see fellow colleagues achieve this same milestone, as we all now continue on our professional journeys!” Please join us in congratulating them on this fantastic achievement as they continue to grow in their careers! 🎉

Our people are our greatest asset and creating an environment where they can grow and thrive is key to our success. That’s why we are delighted to be official supporters of this year’s National Apprenticeships and Skills Awards and join them in celebrating 21 years! 🥂 As previous winners of the SME Employer of the Year award, we’re excited to witness the talent on display this year and celebrate the dedicated apprentices, employers and skills champions who are setting the standard for all to follow. On the night, we’ll be represented by some of our people who have achieved apprenticeship milestones this year and those that are instrumental to making our apprenticeship schemes the best they can be – because who better to showcase our true spirit of ‘Growing People’ than those who live it every day? Best of luck to all finalists – we can’t wait to celebrate with you! And as a little blast from the past, swipe through to relive some of our favourite moments from previous years. 📸

Every 45 seconds, a child reaches out to the NSPCC helpline. Thanks to the incredible work of the NSPCC Property Board, which unites our community in driving positive social action, we recently came together with industry leaders for an unforgettable evening of life-sized Monopoly – all in support of this vital cause 💚 Together, we raised an incredible £36,850 – funds that will make a life-changing difference for children in need of protection and support. A huge thank you to the NSPCC, the NSPCC Property Board and our client, Leslie Peter, Founder and Chair of the NSPCC Property Board for inviting us to be part of such a special event. It was great to engage in some friendly competition alongside key players in the sector, all while working toward a shared goal: building safer communities and protecting childhoods. As we reflect on our two Healthcare Futures roundtable events in Leeds and Manchester, our overwhelming feeling as professionals is that we all have an unwavering desire to deliver better health outcomes for all. Whether it be by large new hospitals through the New Hospital Programme, improving both physical and mental wellbeing across the population, bringing care into the community, retail, and leisure settings, or reducing backlog maintenance across the crumbling estate. We can only hope political parties join forces to provide the long-term support and vision to give Trusts and their advisors a chance to deliver real change. There is no one simple solution, so it is imperative everyone plays an active part in shaping a better future for healthcare. Thanks to all who attended and shared their thoughts on the far-reaching topics, your views were invaluable.
