Hear from Deepika, who embraces her appearance and confidence. Let’s shine a light on Dove’s incredible support in helping UNICEF empower millions of girls with their body confidence and self-esteem through our life skills programme. Girls are shaping our future, yet unrealistic appearance ideals and harmful body talk can cause girls to feel self-critical and insecure and can prevent them from fulfilling their full potential. Together in India, Dove and UNICEF are supporting girls and adolescents like Deepika to help them focus on their qualities and strengths beyond appearance, embrace their differences, and stand up for their rights. Huge thanks to Dove.

We are deeply concerned by the UK Government’s decision to further reduce the aid budget, and the impact this will have on the world’s most vulnerable children. Cuts to UK aid will mean millions of children not having access to critical health care, not having enough to eat and missing out on their learning. At a time of increased global insecurity and instability, this decision will undoubtedly risk lives. We invite you to stand with us in protecting children from the severe impact of these cuts. Please write to your MP to ask how the Government will ensure that children are protected from this decision. https://lnkd.in/eUWMx2qs
