It’s always rewarding to hear from alumni who can share an insight into their current role and career trajectory. It was great that Alison Howells, University of Edinburgh Law School alumna, kicked off our “All you need is Law” series of online presentations with a brilliant input. University of Edinburgh Careers Service reposted this
An exciting new chapter for our team! Here in the early careers space we wear a lot of different hats, whether it's running our end-to-end recruitment processes, marketing our opportunities to students via our social channels and events, or supporting candidates on their journey through to a training contract. I have loved my time working in depth on each of these areas and now we have two great opportunities open for those looking to make their mark on either our recruitment processes (from application through to offer), or our brand presence (online, in-person and across the spectrum of undergraduates and graduates looking to gain a TC). These are by no means opportunities for those looking to actually become a lawyer (a misconception commonly seen across those starting roles in legal early careers) - even though my family have consistently asked me for the last 5 years if becoming a lawyer was something I wanted to do (the answer is always, and will always, be no... no offence to my lawyer colleagues and friends)! If you have experience in early careers attraction and recruitment, in any industry, we would be interested in hearing from you. However, if you don't have this experience, or are a fresh grad, we will absolutely still consider your application! We are looking for applicants interested in learning about and building on the strong foundational processes and branding we already have in place. Those willing to learn on the job but also bring fresh and creative ideas to the table - we are a super collaborative and entrepreneurial space, always looking for the next attraction opportunity or development in the recruitment space! For proof of some of the things we get up to, please do take a look at our Instagram and TikTok - https://lnkd.in/ekvg2SrJ https://lnkd.in/eQ8-H7YB Please follow the link below to apply, and if you have any questions, drop me a message! If you are a colleague, friend or connection who has read to the end of this post (thank you, I appreciate the dedication!) but you aren't interested in these opportunities, please do send this on to anyone you think would be interested! Happy Friday all 🎉 🎉 🎉 Link to apply - https://lnkd.in/exMX3AgK
Two new opportunities, to join our Graduate recruitment team! We are looking for a Recruitment Assistant and Marketing & Events Assistant. Both roles being instrumental in the attraction and recruitment of trainees at the firm. These roles are suitable for those with previous experience and graduates looking to get into the field. Should you be interested or want to find out more, do get in touch.
