What a fantastic press trip in partnership with VisitBritain China 👏 Earlier this month, we welcomed 5 top Chinese travel writers from media publications including National Geographic Traveller magazine, World Traveller Magazine and Cosmopolitan magazine, to enjoy 2 nights in the Peak District & Derbyshire promoting the area’s film & TV links 📺 From tours of historic Chatsworth & The Devonshire Group and Haddon Hall to locally-sourced meals at The Cavendish Baslow, The George Hathersage, The Peacock Rowsley; sampling Bakewell Pudding at The Old Original Bakewell Pudding Shop; polishing our own piece of Blue John Stone at Treak Cliff Cavern; enjoying a damp but dramatic and no less beautiful guided walk with Peak Walking Adventures; and relaxing in a fantastic overnight base at Wildhive. We managed to squeeze so much into two very full-on days! Thank you to all our brilliant partners who helped to make the trip such a success. We can't wait to see the coverage promoting the Peak District & Derbyshire to thousands of Chinese visitors.
