Thank you to Material Source and Forbo Flooring Systems for inviting our founder and co-director Simon Millington to take part in the recent roundtable on the impact of data on the workplace. Data is key to the success of any workplace project and utilising it correctly, before, during and after completion, ensures that we (the design team) create rewarding, flexible, inspiring and sustainable working environments for our clients. Lots of great thoughts were shared and discussions had, I hope you enjoy reading all about it. Manchester did not disappoint! Great to be able to show the first group of our Manchester colleagues around the new Hill Dickinson LLP space at St Michael's Manchester. It's really exciting to see things coming together and to be able to help colleagues visualise the amazing space that we are planning to create for both our colleagues and our clients. It will definitely be worth the wait and the views are "epic"!! The Manchester weather was far from stereotypical and Emma Smith and I feared we may not be able to move the group from the terrace but with so much more to see (and a promise that we'd at least consider sunbeds for the terrace 😉 ), they eventually relented. Many thanks to Louise Kilbride, Abigail Vincent and Roisin Serridge for arranging the visit and the guided tour. Congratulations to our client Henry Boot PLC for winning the Design Excellence Award at last night's Insider Media Sheffield Property Awards 2024. We are so proud of the workspace that we created for Henry Boot's team in its move from Grade II listed premises in the countryside, to the Isaacs Building in the heart of Sheffield city centre. This game-changing project aimed to encourage greater collaboration and cohesiveness across the organisation, strengthen talent attraction and retention, and help deliver the company's goal of being net zero carbon by 2030.
