Welcome Building® has officially opened in #Bristol! Our 207,000 sq ft state-of-the-art workspace, has officially opened in Bristol. Delivered through a joint venture between EPISO 5, a fund managed by Tristan Capital Partners, and Trammell Crow Company, we offer the largest, most flexible floorplates in the city — setting new standards for sustainability and wellbeing. International law firm DAC Beachcroft, one of the largest legal sector employers in the South West, has already signed on as our first tenant. They will occupy 44,865 sq ft across levels six and seven, with several other occupiers in discussions. Designed by Darling Associates Architects and constructed by Wates Group, the building offers floorplates between 22,000 to 30,000 sq ft, reconfigurable to meet diverse needs. The ground floor features a vibrant ‘Street’ designed by Hassell with a café bar, breakout seating, event space, and public art by Dorcas Casey with Bricks Bristol. Welcome Building® is a smart, all-electric development with WiredScore Platinum and SmartScore Gold certifications. It is one of only three buildings in Bristol to achieve a NABERS Design for Performance Target Rating of 5 Stars. Targeting Well Platinum and BREEAM Outstanding, it prioritises wellness and offers exceptional end-of-trip facilities for cyclists that are Platinum-rated by Five at Heart. Connected to the Bristol Heat Network, the building uses zero-carbon heat from Castle Park’s energy centre and has already been shortlisted for two awards, including Development of the Year at the Props Awards 2025 and Green Building of the Year in the UK Green Business Awards. Toby Pentecost, Senior Vice President and head of UK offices at Trammell Crow Company, praised the development for its exceptional ESG standards and prime location. “Welcome Building® is our first completed office development in Europe and is a major milestone for TCC as we continue to increase our footprint in the region. It is an exemplar development providing high-quality, ESG-focused workspace in a thriving part of the city centre. This building sets a new bar for sustainability in Bristol and boasts an exceptional location with great amenities and connectivity. With some space still available and a shortage of large floorplates in the city, we are experiencing high demand and look forward to making another letting announcement very soon.” Wates Group | Darling Associates Architects | Hassell | Avison Young │ UK | Currie & Brown | Hoare Lea | Mason Navarro Pledge Ltd | Gillespies | Rainbow | Knight Frank | Alder King Property Consultants Discover more https://lnkd.in/gR3F9Si2
