It was great to welcome Jane Dodds MS and David Chadwick MP to our Brecon Wastewater Treatment Works this week to discuss river water quality and how we’re playing our part to safeguard it for many years to come. We’re investing £9m into upgrading our Brecon treatment works to improve its efficiency and reduce phosphorous levels in the River Usk. Roedd yn wych croesawu Jane Dodds MS a David Chadwick MP i’n safle Gwaith Trin Dŵr Gwastraff Aberhonddu wythnos yma i drafod ansawdd dŵr afonydd a sut rydym yn chwarae ein rhan i’w ddiogelu am flynyddoedd i ddod. Rydym yn buddsoddi £9m i uwchraddio ein safle gwaith trin yn Aberhonddu i wella ei effeithlonrwydd a lleihau lefelau ffosfforws yn Afon Wysg.

We’re delighted to be working with GlobalWelsh to conduct a major global research project into the ‘brain drain’ in Wales 🧠🏴 “It’s important for Welsh organisations, like ourselves, to better understand the barriers and motivations of our global talent pool so that we may attract and retain key talent within the borders of Wales. The findings of this research will not only help us to gain a better understanding of why people leave Wales but also why they would eventually return.” Martin Driscoll, Business Support and People Director, DCWW The survey is now live until August 2024, results expected in the autumn. Survey: https://lnkd.in/eYeSK6Eh More information: https://lnkd.in/etycynp9 *** Rydyn ni wrth ein bodd i gael gweithio gyda GlobalWelsh i gyflawni prosiect ymchwil pwysig i’r ‘draen dawn’ yng Nghymru 🧠🏴 “Mae hi’n bwysig i sefydliadau Cymreig, fel ni, gael gwell dealltwriaeth o rwystrau a chymhelliant ein cronfa ddawn fyd-eang fel y gallwn ddenu a chadw dawn allweddol o fewn ffiniau Cymru. Yn ogystal â’n helpu ni i gael gwell dealltwriaeth ynghylch pam fod pobl yn gadael Cymru, bydd canfyddiadau’r gwaith ymchwil yma’n ein helpu ni i ddeall pam y byddent yn dychwelyd yn y pen-draw hefyd.” Martin Driscoll, Cyfarwyddwr Cymorth Busnes a Phobl, DCWW Bydd yr arolwg yn fyw tan Awst 2024, a disgwylir cyhoeddi’r canlyniadau yn yr hydref.
