“The clients may have got bigger and the problems to solve have gotten more complex, but the ability to craft storytelling and evoke feelings through design will always be core to my process.” Creative Director George Adams caught up with LBBonline - Little Black Book to explore his career evolution, inspirations and his happy place in the design process. 👇 #Design #LittleBlackBook

“If you had told me three years ago that I’d be working in brand design, I probably wouldn’t have believed you. With a background in performance art and interactive experiences, Designer Jamilya Kulambayeva took a leap of faith via a branding internship at Wolff Olins as a chance to explore a new side of the creative industry. “It didn’t take long for me to realise exactly how much I enjoyed branding. It became clear that I could bring my diverse skill set into this space and make it my own.” She caught up with Creative Lives in Progress to share her advice for aspiring creatives. 💫👇 #CreativeLivesInProgress #Design

We’re still buzzing from last week’s Sifted Summit. 💥 Our Strategy Director Lucy Gadkari had a brilliant time at the Summit in London, and shared some of her key takeaways: Anne Boden spoke about her ambition to invest in five big AI-enabled startups that will change the world for the better, while Tessa Clarke, founder of Olio • Share More, Waste Less, emphasised how technology will not be a silver bullet when it comes to addressing the climate crisis. It’s a critical enabler. But it’s not the whole answer. On the topic of sustainability, Katy Medlock of Back Market highlighted the need to change society’s view of ‘recycled’ or ‘second-hand’ as lower quality or less convenient - particularly in the electronic industry, where the idea of circularity is still relatively new. #SiftedSummit #Technology

Our Global CEO Sairah Ashman has been hosting her own TEDx events for an incredible 10 years now. Last night in London, at her 2024 event, she was joined by three inspirational speakers who explored different journeys of connection and their impact on cultural landscapes. Annabelle Baker delved into the power of anti-perfection in beauty, Caroline Donahue examined how literature shapes our understanding of relationships and consent, and Jo Tutchener Sharp explored the impact of a positive mindset and the importance of leaving a lasting legacy. 💫 Sairah will be sharing more insights from her event soon - stay tuned. #TEDxGreekStWomen2024

The Design Effect: Designing the future you choose. On October 8th at The British Museum, our Global CEO Sairah Ashman will be leading a Design Business Association (DBA) panel on how we can create a future where design can move beyond simply responding to change, to being a driving force behind it. Alongside Sairah Ashman, Pratt Institute’s Dr. Mary McBride, Valeria Adani from Projects by IF and Design for Good’s Ben Sheppard will be exploring the ways that effective design can shape business, society and the world. Find out more about the London event and join us there.👇 #Design #EffectiveDesign #DesignEffect

Fast Company Innovation Festival never disappoints. The team had a fantastic time at the festival in New York recently, and shared some of their top highlights: Hearing from Convene CEO Ryan Simonetti on the importance of aligning business and cultural strategies, and Stefan Sagmeister on why every organisation should bring care and intention to its brand design. Additionally, Reddit, Inc.’s Matt Klein explored how brands should stop following trends at the expense of observing longer-term shifts in society and culture, and instead create positive futures that become trends. 🙌 Simon Chong Brian Meyers

‘I liked that while the people working there took what they did seriously, they didn’t take themselves too seriously. And with its somewhat maverick culture rooted in the 60s and its belief in making the world better, it felt familiar; a homecoming of sorts.’ 💫 This month, our wonderful Global CEO Sairah Ashman is celebrating her 30th anniversary at Wolff Olins - a huge milestone moment. Rising through the ranks and under the mentorship of some very special people, including Wally Olins, she has gone on to inspire and lead our agency into the future. It’s the perfect occasion to reflect on her journey to the company and the ride she’s been on since. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/ew6q24yx 👈 #Leadership #CreativeIndustries #Brand
