Renowned for their commitment to sustainability and cruelty-free ingredients, B.O.B and their personal care products — skincare, hair care, dental care, and more — are firm favourites for eco-conscious consumers in Latin America. Aiming to elevate the brand’s recognition and boost sales with customers both devoted and new, Estúdio Gole, a São Paulo-based design studio, created a lifestyle-focused campaign that builds upon the established brand identity. Following audience feedback, pointing out that the brand’s narrative was very alarmist, the studio devised a new direction, positioning B.O.B. as a ‘daily life partner’ that takes pride of place within a ‘plastic-free bathroom.’ Encapsulated in the slogan to ‘Eleva a barra’ (Raise the Bar), Gole highlights B.O.B’s focus on the safety and reliability of its natural, plastic-free products. In embracing the unexpected outcomes of nature, Madalena Studio has pushed the boundaries of branding by using bacteria to create a unique visual identity for Crucible, a London-based experimental drinks hub. Inspired by Crucible's innovative approach, the studio swabbed samples like aged kombucha and food waste onto laser-cut cork logos, cultivating them in petri dishes. These bacteria cultures, including mycelium and Bacillus, were grown in a makeshift incubator and photographed over two weeks, resulting in nearly 2,000 images showcasing organic growth. The studio embraced the natural forms without manipulation, using vibrant pinks and greens to enhance the visual appeal, reflecting Crucible’s affinity for neon while ensuring that the visual style “didn't just look like mould!” Keep reading → t-bi.link/crucible
