Just in case you were wondering, Day 3 of Lloyd's Academy for RIMS (Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc.) could best be described as the crowning moment on an outstanding programme. With the theme 'Interacting with the market' our day started with a 1.5 hour claims panel, that was still too short, with Jillian Frank and Rich Woodhams making a repeat appearance and our new panellist, Helen Ashenden inspiring more interaction from the audience.
We then released the delegates to Underwriter and Broker Shadowing, with volunteers from 24 insurance companies, who were invited to join us for a networking lunch hosted by Bruce Carnegie-Brown by the Lloyd's Old Library. Once again, Bruce inspired the audience with his industry knowledge and reinforced the importance of innovation for insurance to remain relevant in this ever changing global landscape.
Day 3 ended with Liveried Head Waiter, Paul Warden completing a live signing of one of the certificates of completion; closing remarks from Gary LaBranche, FASAE, CAE; and a certificate ceremony hosted by Dawn Miller, ARM, ERMP.
