“Wolverhampton became a city in 2000. It feels and looks as if it’s been one for 150 years. It has grand civic buildings, a serious railway station, a flash multi-platformed bus station.” An excellent piece in The Guardian about modern Wolverhampton and its historic past and rich history: https://lnkd.in/eWnM3x3s City of Wolverhampton Council Wolverhampton Art Gallery

Yesterday, our team visited the beautiful Edgbaston Park Hotel & Conference Centre for a productive Tourism Away Day, focused on business planning for the year ahead. The day was packed with insightful discussions on regenerative tourism, the latest regional updates, and scenario planning, along with valuable time spent reflecting on both individual and team successes. Alongside these collaborative sessions, we enjoyed an informative tour of the hotel and its impressive conference facilities. It was great to learn more about the hotel's versatile meeting spaces and commitment to sustainability, which is woven into every aspect of their operations. A big thank you to Amy Louise Macdonald and Krishna Pastakia for hosting us! Sophie King Paul Marshall Martin Clarke Hannah Carroll Millie Poat Dionne G. Tom Marlow Becky Frall Dimas A. Shannon Chu
