Today, MetLife UK has announced its latest strategic partnership with YuLife for Advisers to enhance its Group Income Protection (GIP) with the provider’s app to support wellbeing in the workplace. This partnership aims to ‘keep work working’ by encouraging daily employee engagement with mental & physical wellbeing activities via the YuLife app. Designed to proactively support employee health & wellbeing, embedding YuLife’s app into all MetLife UK Group Income Protection (GIP) policies combines its current suite of early intervention tools, clinical rehabilitation, and proactive absence management support with a “unique approach to engagement and gamification.” Dominic Grinstead, Sammy Rubin, YuLife https://lnkd.in/ewGWzMUy

Today, I’m thrilled to announce YuLife’s partnership with MetLife UK to launch our new Group Income Protection (GIP) offering. 👏 Traditionally, GIP has focused on supporting employees when they’re already ill or injured. But with long-term absenteeism on the rise, we’re aiming to change that narrative. We set out to create a GIP solution that doesn’t just support employees at the point of absence but also empowers them from day one. That’s why Dominic Grinstead and I call this approach "Group Income Protection AND Prevention." From November 1st, all MetLife's new and existing GIP policies will have a new version YuLife integrated into it. Through the YuLife app, employees can actively improve their well-being every day—and be rewarded for it.
