With the included smartphone adapter, you can attach your device to any telescope eyepiece with an outside diameter of 45mm or smaller. Installation is straightforward, secure your device to the front side of the adapter with the included elastic bands, clamp the eyepiece to the fitted port on the back side of the adapter, and finally secure the entire assembly to the eyepiece receptacle of your telescope. Then, use the StarPointer™ Pro finderscope to locate your favorite celestial object and start snapping stellar photos! You can even use your device as a viewing screen, making it easy to share your adventures in real-time or online!

Fully Coated Optics
The Celestron Inspire 100AZ features a short optical tube (436mm) and relatively wide aperture (100mm) making it ideal for planetary and lunar viewing. This refractor style telescope sports fully coated glass optics that provide clear, clean views at various magnifications. The included Kellner eyepieces offer a rich center point sharpness perfect for viewing brighter deep sky star clusters and binary (double-triple) stars systems. When viewing through the 10 mm eyepiece, large celestial objects like the Moon will nearly fill the eyepiece, making it easy to get lost in the serene lunar landscapes. The more moderately powered 20 mm eyepiece will allow you to take a step back, providing a higher image resolution that will be appreciated when viewing larger structures like the Orion Nebula. By adding a 2x Barlow, like the Apertura 1.25" A-2XB1, to the 10 mm Kellner eyepiece, you can significantly increase the power of this telescope, making for breathtaking views of Jupiter and its moons. The conveniently placed focus gauge allows for repeatable focal point returns, day in and day out, and with the addition of the erect image diagonal, you can swiftly correct image orientation, making this scope wonderful for daytime viewing.
Signature Alt-Azimuth Mount
The Celestron Inspire 100AZ Refractor Telescope comes equipped with a unique asymmetrical alt-azimuth mount. The included panning handle provides pinpoint targeting precision needed to locate, and lock-on, elusive objects. The motion control clutch will effortlessly adjust the position of the view either left-right, or up-down, and the included quick release dovetail bar makes assembly quick and efficient!
