Powering deeper understanding in healthcare through purpose-built AI.
About us
Abridge was founded in 2018 with the mission of powering deeper understanding in healthcare. Our AI-powered platform was purpose-built for medical conversations, improving clinical documentation efficiencies while enabling clinicians to focus on what matters most—their patients. Our enterprise-grade technology transforms patient-clinician conversations into structured clinical notes in real-time, with deep EMR integrations. Powered by Linked Evidence and our purpose-built, auditable AI, we are the only company that maps AI-generated summaries to ground truth, helping providers quickly trust and verify the output. As pioneers in generative AI for healthcare, we are setting the industry standards for the responsible deployment of AI across health systems.

It is sacrosanct that nurses are the scaffolding for healthcare delivery. Every time I round in the hospital, that reality hits hard — I rely on them, my patients and their family members rely on them, our hospital administrators rely on them…the entire care delivery system depends upon their expertise and care. But too often, tools are developed for them rather than with them. Furthermore, cutting-edge technology frequently takes too long to impact nursing workflows. I am so thrilled to share that we are breaking away from those prior trends, through our work with Mayo Clinic and Epic. Together, we are working to streamline nursing workflows across the country. As Ryannon Frederick, Chief Nursing Officer at Mayo Clinic put it, "Our nurses are really, really strong and excellent at the nursing practice. You build that with the talent and capabilities of Abridge with their generative AI solution and their track record there, as well as Epic and their excellence in electronic medical records. All three of those capabilities were needed to build the solution." 🙏Ryannon Frederick, Edwina Bhaskaran, Cheristi Cognetta Rieke, DNP, Emily Barey 🙌Sarah Green Laura Vang Read more 👇 https://lnkd.in/e7UsSxvu

We are thrilled to announce a groundbreaking collaboration between Mayo Clinic, Epic, and Abridge to streamline clinical workflows for nurses across the U.S. 💖 One of our core values at Abridge is to "honor humanity." There are no better exemplars of this value than the legions of nurses that constitute the backbone of the U.S. healthcare system. It's a privilege to work alongside nurses to build AI-powered solutions that are for nurses, by nurses. All three of those capabilities were needed to build the solution." Our joint aim is to help nurses focus on patient care, instead of paperwork, and to ultimately improve care delivery experiences for everyone. Read more in Becker's Healthcare 👇

Thank you, Epic, for sharing how Abridge helped Lee Health decrease clinician after-hours work! 📑✨ Read our Lee Health Case Study for all the details: https://lnkd.in/ewKwxQca
Medical documentation is a vital tool for physicians and plays an important role in delivering quality care. Our friends at Lee Health successfully simplified their clinical documentation process by using generative AI transcription technology, yielding impressive outcomes. According to Dr. Will Carracino, CMIO at Lee Health, 74% of clinicians experienced a decrease in after-hours work, while note completion and documentation errors improved. Additionally, Dr. Carracino says that 86% of physicians now feel they have sufficient time for documentation, enabling providers to accommodate an additional patient per day. Congrats to the folks at Lee Health! Read more about their story here: https://lnkd.in/eqrDUWAe #healthcare #healthIT #generativeAI
