However, there's no such thing as a perfect, one-size-fits-all diet. Powered by machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI), precision nutrition has the ability to sift through tremendous amounts of data to develop comprehensive nutritional recommendations to support both individual and population health. #JNutr invites submissions of high-quality, original research manuscripts, reviews, perspectives, and case studies that are focused on the role of technology in precision nutrition. This Special Issue will include contributions from scientists working at the interface of nutrition, health, data science and AI in order to capture the state of the science and catalyze the next generation of ideas. Topics may include, but are not limited to, comparisons of conventional approaches with precision nutrition, collection of new data, application to existing data, ethics, equity, and user training. By September 15, 2025, authors must submit their manuscripts online via The Journal of Nutrition’s submission system.
