It was inspiring to see our team, engage their civic duties, and show up as advocates for the arts at the first County Budget Hearing for the upcoming fiscal year. We were the first of 11 speakers—setting the tone with compelling, eloquent statements to let our county commissioners and mayor know: the arts matter and contribute, at large, to vitality of Miami-Dade county. 🎤 It was powerful to see so many other advocates and leaders from our creative ecosystem there like City Theatre Miami and Rosie Gordon-Wallace—rallying together. 📢 It’s not over yet. You still have time to make your voice heard. The Miami-Dade Arts Action Alliance Arts Action Alliance has made it easy with email templates to help you advocate to your commissioner for the arts.
