We’re excited to introduce you to our 100th Grand Board of the Aleph Zadik Aleph and 80th International Board of the B’nai B’rith Girls, the 12 teens leading the BBYO Movement this year. Up first are our Gizborim (Treasurers), Joaquin Salamon from BBYO Uruguay and Alexandra Greenberg from Rocky Mountain Region. This year, they will support their counterparts by creating new tools and resources to make fundraising and philanthropy events highlights on every calendar throughout the Order. They are ready to energize the Movement around the International Service Fund (ISF), helping members understand its importance and how to fundraise for it. Additionally, they will promote and manage our Gamechanger Innovation Grants, elevating local experiences through strategic fund allocations to strengthen our Movement. Want to learn more about their year? Check out https://lnkd.in/gQ6vGcxN.

We're thrilled to highlight some of our staff who brought that extra smile and effort (and have been so effective) on our summer programs this past week.☀️ Julia Cinnamon—Julia jumped in to escort a group of teens on a flight to Berlin. In under 2 hours Julia packed, left home and was at the airport and through security. This isn’t where it ended. The flight to Berlin was through Munich and due to bad weather, the second leg was cancelled and the group ended up on an overnight train to Berlin. Benjamin Császár—Ben was dedicated to becoming a certified lifeguard despite his busy schedule getting ready for CLTC 2. He did not shy away from the challenge but instead embraced it. Grace Moses—Iza just completed CLTC 1, ensuring everything ran well and is now at ILTC as the nurse doing the same thing. Olivia Landsman—Olivia's grace and organization in handling communications and administrative tasks at the ILTC office are impressive. Her calm and strategic approach is a huge asset to the team’s success. Nikki Jenner—Nikki has been providing guidance and support to the ILTC Leadership Team. Her institutional knowledge and desire to improve is so helpful and she is always looking for ways to inspire and uplift others. Thanks, Julia, Ben, Isa, Olivia, and Nikki, for your amazing work and commitment to making our programs a success! #culture #leadership #thankyou #aboveandbeyond

At BBYO, we believe that our strength comes from our amazing team and their incredible families. We love our BBYO families and are proud of the supportive, family-friendly culture we've created. Our comprehensive family leave policy is just one way we show our commitment to our team members and their loved ones. It’s all about ensuring everyone has the time they need to care for their families without sacrificing their careers. Here are some ways in which we do that: • Generous Parental Leave: Providing paid leave for new parents, including both primary and secondary caregivers. • Flexible Return-to-Work Options: Making the transition back to work smooth and personalized. • Family Care Leave: Offering paid leave to support our team when they need to care for family members. We've been evolving our summer leadership programs in response to a troubling surge in antisemitism impacting Jewish teens. To address these challenges, our summer programs now focus on educating teens about Israel and antisemitism, preparing them to confidently discuss and debate their views. With diverse speakers across the spectrum, including Jewish and Arab Israelis, the aim is to foster understanding and resilience. Read more from our EJP feature here: https://lnkd.in/e3HMdPBE

Our last "SNAP OF THE WEEK" of the school year went to Jill Friedman, SHRM-CP, our Director of HR & Talent. Jill recently returned from leave after welcoming her baby boy in January. We have so many awesome working parents at BBYO, which is possible due to our incredible benefits program and work-life integration model. We understand that balancing work and family life can be challenging, which is why we are committed to providing exceptional benefits for our employees. Here are some of the ways we support our team:   • We offer flexible working hours that allow employees to create schedules that allow them to meet their job requirements while managing interests and demands outside of work. • We provide generous parental leave (up to 16 weeks) to ensure that new parents can spend quality time with their newborns without the stress of work obligations. • We promote a healthy work-life balance through various programs and initiatives, including wellness programs and mental health resources. • We provide the option of bringing young children requiring parental care on specific BBYO sponsored business travel    The importance of family is central to BBYO's core values. When our team members feel valued and supported, they can bring their best selves to work, driving our mission forward and creating a positive impact on our community. Interested in joining our team?
