🇧🇪 💫 “Julie Keeps Quiet” is the Belgian Oscar entry 🙌 Julie Keeps Quiet, Leonardo Van Dijl’s feature debut, is the official Belgian entry for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Awards. The Belgian jury selected the film to compete for the coveted statuette in the “Best International Feature Film” category. 🎾 The movie tells the story of a talented young tennis player, whose life is entirely dedicated to sport. When her coach, who took her to the top, is suddenly suspended, their club launches an investigation. All the players are asked to share their experiences, but Julie remains silent. Produced by Gilles Coulier at De Wereldvrede and Les Films du Fleuve (Dardenne brothers), the film is starring Tessa Van den Broeck, Ruth Becquart, or Koen De Bouw. Julie Keeps Quiet had its world premiere at the Semaine de la Critique in Cannes in May, where it won three awards.
