Starting this Friday, November 1, Krug Park Drive will be officially closed to traffic in preparation of Holiday Park. Visitors are still welcome to visit the park as parking is available around the lagoon and in the lower lily pond parking lot. Thank you for your understanding.

Today, October 28, is National First Responders Day as this day recognizes those who answer the call during emergencies. Today we thank those within the St. Joseph Police Department and St. Joseph Fire Department for all they do to serve our community!

On Tuesday, October 29, maintenance work will be taking place at the Wetland Demonstration site located at Corby Grove to maintain the health of the water, plants and wildlife in the area. The next City Council meeting will be Monday, October 28, at 5:30pm, in the Council Chamber at City Hall. The agenda includes: -Authorizing an amendment to the budget to transfer funds from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Fund to the General Fund civic facilities program and authorizing the purchase and installation of stair railings at the Civic Arena from Bundy Fence, LLC -Authorizing the execution of an agreement with the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) to accept a grant to assist with the purchase and installation of an educational/recreational pavilion and replace the restroom building at Corby Pond and an amendment to the Capital Projects Fund budget -Authorizing the issuance of a master agreement work order utilizing the master construction service agreement with Auxier Construction Company to repair the sidewalks and driveway at the Remington Nature Center utilizing Park Sales Tax funds To read the full agenda, visit https://bit.ly/40dl384.
