Almost exactly seven years ago, I accepted the opportunity to work for Clyde Companies; a fantastic place to work. The company has been around almost 100 years (stable) and, over those 7 years of my employment, has tripled in size with a significant presence across the western United States and more (dynamic and growing). We are now hiring an experienced, capable, cyber-security executive who will ensure we possess world-class information and systems security across the enterprise. If you have a passion for it, the experience for it, and the qualifications for it, we'd love to visit with you. CONTEXT We have done much to accommodate the growth and complexity mentioned above: We are all in the cloud (Azure + 3rd party SaaS), we have a world-class enterprise network (Cisco Meraki), we are connected and collaborating at extra-ordinary levels (Microsoft 365) and we are in the process of completing a modernization of human resource management, financial management, process automation, and business intelligence with a move to a modern ERP that sits on a robust platform (Microsoft Dynamics, Power Platform, and Fabric). It's in this context that we want to make sure we are properly protected with the best tools, processes, and approach available.

We had the opportunity to participate in the highly anticipated Touch-A-Truck event at Rock Springs Family Rec Center. Our team connected with the community, showcasing off our machinery and the diverse roles within our company. From kids blowing air horns and maneuvering pump arms to adults learning about the hydraulics and air ride seats, it was a day filled with fun and education. Alex Havens, Michael Farmer, Aaron Farmer, Zhana Tahnazani, Rick Rosene, and Phil Merrel did an amazing job representing us. Aaron summed it up perfectly: “It was a great opportunity to connect with the community, share what we do every day, and teach them about the diversity of drivers we have. The kids were so enthusiastic, and it reminded us why we love what we do.” We’re committed to connecting with our community and inspiring the next generation.
