**Recruitment fraud warning** Recent incidents have occurred involving individuals and organisations falsely claiming to recruit on behalf of CNOOC International. Using unsolicited emails, online recruitment services such as LinkedIn, fake websites, and text messages offering the promise of job opportunities, those who conduct this type of fraud aim to obtain personal information or money. Therefore, we remind everyone to be vigilant regarding job seeking. Look out for warning signs, CNOOC International will NEVER: - Request money (e.g. for ‘visa fees’, taxes, travel expenses). - Request personal information such as passport and bank account details early in the recruitment process. - Send emails from free web-based email accounts such as Yahoo, Gmail or Live.com. - Use mobile (cell) phone numbers, rather than office numbers. - Insist on urgency to secure a job vacancy. - Use poorly formatted documentation or make significant grammar and spelling mistakes. We recommend that you do not respond to unsolicited offers of employment from people claiming to work for or be affiliated with CNOOC International. CNOOC North America recently sponsored a free Family Fun Day at the Anzac Recreation Centre in celebration of the facility’s 10-year anniversary. Members of the community were invited to enjoy family-friendly activities, including face-painting, games, fitness classes, a magic show, and more. CNOOC also sponsored a community BBQ for all attendees. CNOOC has been the Presenting Sponsor of the Anzac Recreation Centre (located near our Long Lake operations) since 2014 and has recently extended its partnership! “I am proud that CNOOC will continue its role as Presenting Sponsor of this outstanding facility, which encourages sport and recreation and has become a vital gathering place for members of our community,” says Li Feng, CEO – CNOOC Petroleum North America. “One of CNOOC’s community investment pillars is to build safe, thriving communities in the areas that we live and work in, and we see the Anzac Recreation Centre as a key partner that shares this goal.” View photos from the event: https://lnkd.in/gkYR2v6M View the press release: https://lnkd.in/gD7YP2Yj

A great team effort to make a positive impact in our local community! Thank you to all our volunteers for braving the Scottish weather and joining us, and to Turning the Plastic Tide for coordinating the beach clean.

⭐️ A very well done to all of the volunteers who took part in a beach clean at Peterhead Lido today as part of the CNOOC International shoreline response training! ⚖️ They removed a substantial 266.4KGs of litter which included everything from crisp packets, to netting, ropes, fish crates and numerous bits of polystyrene! 👍 Thank you to all of those involved in the event, especially to the Peterhead Sailing Club for their hospitality. #beachclean #cleanup #cnooc #beachlitter #peterhead

CNOOC North America is proud to share that our team member, Trish Carter, Analyst, Communications and Community Investment, in our Calgary, Canada office recently reached the 100-mark in donations to Canadian Blood Services! Trish has been making donations for many years, giving whole blood for most of that time, but recently adding plasma and platelets to the list!  “Donating blood is a very straightforward process, and the great folks at Canadian Blood Services take very good care of their donors. I would encourage people to give if they’re able – it’s a small investment of time for a very important cause,” she says. Congratulations, Trish on reaching this significant milestone! Your contributions continue to make real, life-changing impacts to others, and is an inspiring example for us all! CNOOC North America’s Community Investment program encourages employees to support charitable and non-profit organizations that are meaningful to them, offering volunteer rewards and volunteer days to extend their reach in the community.

Our office in Aberdeen, Scotland, was delighted to welcome Friends of ANCHOR and this year’s BRAVE models as they rehearsed for their upcoming fundraising fashion shows. Putting their best foot forward, the models, each of whom has faced a cancer diagnosis or blood disorder, will take to the catwalk to raise funds for cancer and haematology patients in the north-east of Scotland. Bringing energy, excitement, and their best moves, we can’t wait to host their next rehearsal and cheer them on every step of the way! 👏
