We were so excited to show Acting Secretary of HUD Adrianne Todman around Renewal Village with other local partners and stakeholders!
DOLA's Executive Director Maria De Cambra joined Acting Secretary of U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Adrianne Todman and many other community partners at Renewal Village in Denver yesterday. Once a hotel, Renewal Village now provides housing and support services for Coloradans experiencing homelessness. Converting existing buildings into housing meets critical community needs more efficiently. We're proud to have joined the collective effort that made this project possible alongside Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, City and County of Denver's Department of Housing Stability, Adams County Government, and Northern Trust.

October is #DomesticViolenceAwarenessMonth--a time to learn more about the causes and warning signs of DV and the needs of survivors. At CCH, we know that domestic violence is a leading cause of homelessness for women and children and that the need for safe and affordable housing is one of the most pressing concerns for survivors. We have a Survivor Services team which provides client-led services to all survivors of crime, specializing in domestic violence. Survivor services include safety planning, connecting survivors to domestic violence resources, and providing advocacy. The team has provided services to 248 survivors of crime in 2024 so far.

Join us in celebrating our medical assistants; we think they deserve a round of applause for all their hard work 👏👏 ! Clients at our Recuperative Care Center took time to write messages of thanks to medical assistants in honor of #medicalassistantsrecognitionweek. Thank you, medical assistants, for all you do—you bridge the gap between patients and quality care. #MARWeek
