At CollaborateUp, we are passionate about driving social impact through capacity building. 🤝 Through CollaborateUp Academy, we offer professional development programs that enhance leadership, management, and partnership skills, empowering organizations to make a difference in their communities and beyond. Our CollaborateUp Academy works with both private and civil sector partners—like Hewlett Packard, IBM, Chevron, Population Services International, and the World Wildlife Fund—and reflects our commitment to building resilient, high-performing organizations. Our curriculum caters to either virtual or in-person training, and provides a training certificate that meets the needs of each client. By integrating principles of collaboration, learning, and adaptation, we ensure our partners can scale solutions that matter. From training on approaches like design thinking and social behavior change, to immediately applicable skills like public speaking and giving and receiving feedback, our Academy equips organizations with tools to address their unique challenges. We start by uncovering performance gaps, developing customized capacity-building plans, and setting measurable goals to ensure lasting improvement. Through this approach, we align closely with USAID’s mission to promote sustainable development and empower communities to thrive. Every organization we support strengthens the ecosystem of change-makers driving social progress, ensuring a better future for all. About us
CollaborateUp advises businesses, governments, and non-profits on how to work together to solve big problems. Every nonprofit is a business and every business has a social mission. They just don't always know it or act like it so we work with firms to find their unique social mission where they can make significant impact and work with non- profits to build programs that attract companies as partners and donors. On behalf of our clients, we make strategic introductions, translate the needs of businesses to NGOs and vice-versa, and structure outcome-oriented partnerships that amplify impact and get results faster at lower cost.

CollaborateUp had the pleasure of facilitating the USAID Sustainable Ecosystems Launch Event in #Jamaica earlier this month. We can't wait to continue to work with Pan American Development Foundation and USAID to continue to build more sustainable and resilient ecosystems in the region.
At the USAID Caribbean Sustainable Ecosystems Activity launch event in #Jamaica, our speakers emphasized the importance of solid waste management for protecting the marine environment and public health. 🌍💡 Our panel consisted of key stakeholders Jamaica Environment Trust and Sandals Resorts International Experts from these organizations discussed strategic approaches to overcoming solid waste management challenges in the Caribbean. Implementing these strategies will help us build a more sustainable and resilient future for the region. 🌿 #SolidWasteManagement #EnvironmentalProtection #CaribbeanConservation #SustainableDevelopment #MarineConservation #EcoTourism

CollaborateUp is thrilled to continue our work addressing wildlife crime in Southern Africa on the USAID/Southern Africa Countering Wildlife Crime (CWC) Activity. This Activity is particularly close to our hearts as it aligns with our mission of fostering multi-stakeholder collaboration to tackle some of the most pressing challenges our world faces today. Under the USAID/Southern Africa VukaNow Activity, we supported USAID in co-creating a program that brought together public, private, and civil sector actors from across the Southern African region. Through our collective impact approach, we helped build a foundation for long-term collaboration. Under this new project, we will lead activities to improve upon that collaboration, working to ensure coordination, learning, and sharing among stakeholders and partners to counter wildlife crime. Building on our work under VukaNow, we'll engage the private sector to take action to contribute to addressing wildlife crime, we'll coordinate donor efforts across the region, and strengthen platforms to share best practices, research, and data to spur evidence-based decision making. We look forward to working with our partners to build on previous successes and further amplify the impact of VukaNow in addressing wildlife crime and promoting sustainable development across Southern Africa. It was a pleasure to attend the USAID OSDBU webinar on Sept. 10 to hear the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) Director Kimberly Ball speak about the important work the office is doing to support small businesses (like us!) and help to promote USAID’s #localization goals. As an SBA certified 8(a) small business, we understand the importance of working with local partners to encourage local, sustainable impact and we are grateful to our fantastic network of local partners and collaborators. We appreciated Kimberly’s advice for how small businesses can work with local partners, supporting one another and USAID's localization goals. Thank you, OSDBU and Kimberly Ball, and AidKonekt for hosting!
