Community members and patients attended our free Women’s Wellness Event, “Show Yourself Some Love,” at our Niagara Falls location yesterday, July 10. Despite the rain, we had a great turnout! Attendees received helpful tips during presentations from our providers, Emily Murphy, WHNP, women's health nurse practitioner, and Dr. Shahla Ahmad, MD, CCFP. The event was hosted by our Women’s Health Department. While enjoying a healthy lunch, attendees learned about the importance of cancer screenings from Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, received healthy recipes from Cornell Cooperative Extension of Niagara County, and got useful info from Fidelis Care - New York. Relaxing chair massages by Yamastay Mobile Massage Co., were a huge hit! The Community Health Center of Buffalo, Inc. welcomes new patients! We have locations in Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Cheektowaga, and Lockport. For an appointment, call 716-986-9199. #WomensWellness #WomensHealth #FamilyMedicine #FamilyPlanning
