We are thrilled that our partners at Headspace launched a mental health initiative to support those who are on fertility journeys! At Doveras, mental health has always been a focus as part of the "Wellness" pillar of fertility health, and our members have benefited from having access to Headpace and its resources to support their path to parenthood. This new fertility initiative is incredible as it provides completely free access to meditations and mindfulness exercises to everyone-- regardless of whether they are a member or not. No matter your pathway to parenthood, a healthy pregnancy and baby is the most important the goal. When it comes to surrogacy journeys, there is so much we can do to help gestational carriers prepare physically and emotionally for transfer and pregnancy. We loved shedding light on the importance of #Healthy #Surrogacy with Brian A. Levine, MD, MS, FACOG and the team at Nodal. Making sushi with some of our favorite advisors and collaborators was one for the books! Today, we’re proud to announce our first peer-reviewed publication in Women’s Health Science Journal, titled “Diverse Preconception Cohort of Digital Health Platform Shows Promise for Addressing Fertility Care Gaps.” It details the demographics of an inception cohort using our digital preconception platform, which is currently the largest commercially available pre-pregnancy intervention technology in the country. Here are some highlights: ✨ We’re organically reaching a racially and geographically diverse population, contributing to closing gaps in health equity insights and care delivery ✨ Our users come from nearly all 50 states and more than half (61%) are living in a “fertility care desert” ✨ 60% of users invite their male partner to join them in pre-pregnancy preparation, supporting the couple's mental health and faster consideration of often-overlooked sperm challenges These results signal the opportunity for the Doveras digital health platform to fill gaps in preconception research as well as access to preconception care.
