What a month! 🚀 From the roar of F1 to the roar of jet engines at Avalon, and wrapping up with the rover action at the Australian Rover Challenge… Roo-ver’s been busy! We showcased our prototype of Australia’s first lunar rover to racing fans, aviation enthusiasts, students, and curious minds of all ages. Whether it was kids trying out our rover driving station at the F1 Innovation Hub, meeting Roo-ver at the Avalon Airshow, or chatting with future space engineers at the Australian Rover Challenge in Adelaide, we’ve loved sharing the journey. Thanks to everyone who came by, asked a question, tested their skills, or just stopped to say g’day. Keep an eye out for future opportunities to say g’day to Roo-ver! #Moon #Rover #ROOver #GDayMoon #MoonToMars #ELO2 #Space #SpaceInnovation #AustralianMade EPE. About us
ELO2 is sending Australia’s first lunar rover – Roo-ver – to the moon. Co-led by Grantee EPE Oceania and Technical Lead Lunar Outpost Oceania, ELO2 is made up of 21 organisations representing the best of Australian science, research, industry and education. ELO2 will build, design and test the semi-autonomous rover, which will be flown to the moon on a NASA mission later this decade. It will be remotely operated from Australia. Roo-ver will work with NASA to explore the lunar south pole, and is part of Australia’s contribution to the international Artemis Program. As we journey towards the moon, ELO2 will also inspire and engage hundreds of thousands of Australians in the mission, and accelerate and grow Australia’s space and tech industries. The Roo-ver mission receives funding from the Australian Government through the Australian Space Agency.

We’re back at the Australian Rover Challenge! Our prototype for Roo-ver, Australia’s first lunar rover, is returning to #ARCh2025 in Adelaide, and so is our team. As proud sponsors of the challenge, we’re excited to support the next generation of space innovators. Throughout the event, student teams and attendees will have the chance to meet our engineers, ask questions, and see Roo-ver in action as we demonstrate some of the rover’s capabilities. We’re looking forward to connecting with future space engineers and sharing what it’s like to design, test and build technology for the lunar surface right here in Australia. #Moon #Rover #ROOver #GDayMoon #MoonToMars #ELO2 #Space #SpaceInnovation #AustralianMade EPE.
