🌟 Technology Transfer workshop and networking event 🌟 On December 5th, 2024, the CTE Roma - Casa delle Tecnologie Emergenti in Rome hosted a remarkable workshop and networking event under the theme: “Technology Transfer in Italy and Europe: New Challenges and Opportunities”. Organized in collaboration with the EMPOWEREDbyNEIA initiative, the event brought together more than 50 participants from universities, TTOs, SMEs, policymakers, and innovation stakeholders to discuss the critical role of technology transfer in driving innovation and advancing environmental sustainability in Italy and across Europe. 🎯 Event Highlights: 📌 Showcased 5 technology transfer case studies, developed through partnerships between SMEs and universities, illustrating impactful results of effective collaboration. 📌 Discussed the evolution of Technology Transfer Offices (TTOs) in Italy, with insights into governance, best practices, and the holistic role of TTOs in bridging academia and industry. 📌 Focused on green and clean tech sectors as key levers for sustainable urban development and economic growth. 💬 The event featured an engaging roundtable discussion with thoughtful leaders such as: Michela Michilli(Lazio Innova), Valentina Gazzarri (BUGNION SpA), Leonardo Massa (MITO Technology),  Christian Iaione (Luiss Guido Carli University), Vittorio Cesarotti (University of Rome Tor Vergata). The session, expertly moderated by Aleardo Furlani from INNOVA - Technology Transfer and Valorisation, fostered a dynamic exchange of ideas on building ecosystems of continuous learning and collaboration. 🍸 The evening concluded with a networking aperitif, providing an excellent opportunity for participants to connect, share ideas, and strengthen collaborations.
