Vision loss can take many forms. Recently, our Occupational Therapist, Karen Kendrick, found a creative solution for a patient with severe scoliosis who couldn't lift her head to see forward. Karen inverted Bed Spectacles, typically used to look downward, allowing the patient to see straight ahead for the first time in years! Thanks to Karen's innovativeness, the patient has expressed how grateful she is to finally be able to watch TV again, see her caregiver in front of her, notice obstacles in front of her, and more! Learn more about our low vision rehabilitation specialists by calling 316-440-1600 (Wichita) or 214-420-5095 (Farmers Branch). #OccupationalTherapy
