ECCF's President & CEO Stratton Lloyd recently made an appearance on the Lynn Lowdown, a news program produced by LYNN COMMUNITY TELEVISION INC. and hosted by Danielle Vittori. Thank you, Lynn Community TV, for giving us the opportunity to talk about ECCF's work in #EssexCounty, including managing #DAFs and other charitable funds, and convening community members and leaders around issues like #WorkforceDevelopment, #DigitalEquity, #SmallBusinessResiliency, #Arts, #Culture and so much more. ECCF is #25YearsStrong: working with donors, nonprofits, community and business leaders, municipalities and state government FOR the 34 cities and towns of Essex County. And nothing is more important for the social sector right now than #collaboration. "We want people to work together," said Lloyd. "A lot of times philanthropy funds organizations independently and then organizations work independently. We're trying to flip that model and say, 'Well, what if we fund you to work together? How would you do it differently?'"

We inspire philanthropy across Essex County.
About us
Essex County Community Foundation inspires philanthropy that strengthens the communities of Essex County by managing charitable assets, strengthening and supporting nonprofits, and engaging in strategic community leadership initiatives. Since 1998, ECCF and its family of 230 charitable funds have granted over $85 million to nonprofits, schools and students in Essex County and beyond. Our ultimate goal is to have 34 thriving cities and towns in Essex County and to improve the quality of life for the region’s 750,000 residents. At ECCF, our focus is on our donors so our donors can focus on their giving. The Foundation offers a variety of funds to meet your philanthropic goals, and our staff can assist you in supporting your favorite organizations, both locally and beyond. The ECCF family of funds supports everything from the arts to hunger relief to youth at risk, and just about any cause you care about in between. ECCF offers personalized service, vast local knowledge and effective financial management of your assets. When you make the decision to give through ECCF, you become part of something bigger, as fund fees support the strategic and collaborative work of the Foundation. This includes our newest community leadership project, Impact Essex County, which aims to identify and move the needle on Essex County's most pressing regional challenges.
