Findhelp's Founder & CEO Erine Gray was recently a featured alum on The LBJ School of Public Affairs' blog. He shares how his interest in health policy has been shaped by his lived experiences and discusses "American Compassion: LIVE", a series of conversations about the safety net that are co-hosted by The LBJ School. The idea for "American Compassion" came from a class Erine took with journalism professor Dr. Marvin Olasky, whose book, "The Tragedy of American Compassion," explored the history of the safety net. Reflecting on his journey, Erine credits the LBJ School with transforming his career and perspective. “Going to the LBJ School was one of the best decisions I ever made,” he said. 📰 Read the full story ▶️ https://hubs.li/Q02VmHKX0 📆 RSVP for the Nov. 13 taping of "American Compassion: LIVE" ▶️ https://hubs.li/Q02Vn1-r0 #Findhelp #TheLBJSchool #UTAustin #HealthPolicy #PublicAffairs

✍🏻 Connections Blog: Addressing Food Allergies with Attane Health ✍🏻 In recognition of October 16 as #WorldAllergyAwarenessDay, we’re sharing more information about our partnership with Attane Health (formerly Free From Market) to support individuals with food allergies by connecting them with specialized meals and food to improve their health outcomes. According to FARE, caring for children with food allergies cost U.S. families nearly $33 billion in 2024 (adjusted from a 2011–2012 analysis). Emergency department visits and hospitalizations to treat food allergy reactions result in costs that are 2.5 times higher for low-income children than for children of families with higher incomes. Read our latest blog post to learn how Findhelp and Attane Health can support your patients and members who have severe food allergies. 📖 The full story ▶️ https://hubs.li/Q02TGLRd0 World Allergy Awareness Day is celebrated annually on October 16. It was established in 1999 by the International Association for Asthma and Allergy Awareness to raise awareness of the challenges people with allergies face. The day's goal is to promote understanding, improve resources and care, and encourage people to be more accommodating of those with allergies. #Findhelp #AttaneHealth #Partnership #FoodAllergy
