GLAMP is right around the corner, and like all our events, we couldn’t do this without the support of our community. We wanted to send a huge thank you to all our event sponsors, gifts-in-kind donors, and our program partners. These individuals, groups, and companies recognize the importance of supporting girls and women and are allowing us to continue to provide valuable outdoor experiences to kids in our community. They are also helping us provide GLAMP attendees with an amazing weekend experience! If you know any of these supporters, be sure to thank them for supporting Girl Scouts! Registration is open until September 1, so don’t wait to sign up: gssne.org/glamp

This could include fun activities like earning badges, selling cookies, exploring science, getting outdoors, and doing community service projects—all part of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. The Girl Scout program serves girls and gender-expansive youth in grades K-12. The 2024 Olympics in Paris kicks off today and we're celebrating the incredible achievements of Girl Scout alums who've made their mark as Olympians! 🏅 Among these inspiring women is the legendary Florence Griffith Joyner, a five-time Olympic athlete, and one of the fastest women in history! Flo-Jo dominated track and field, winning 3 gold medals and 2 silver medals in the 1984 and 1988 Olympic games. She still holds the world records for both the 100m and 200m sprints, which she set in 1988! Her journey exemplifies the courage, confidence, and character, as well as the limitless potential within every Girl Scout. Stay tuned as we celebrate the achievements of more Girl Scout alums over the next few weeks! #girlscouts #paris2024 #olympics
