Let's be honest: Every architect dreams about their own brand and website design. And Alexander is just livin' the dream! Search for it on Spotify, Apple, Overcast, YouTube, etc. This third episode dives into the process of Studio Bucky's brand identity and web design. Having spent more than 1,000+ hours improving websites, this is something I'm extremely passionate about. You'll learn about: - Above the fold design - CTA's that convert visitors - Copywriting that captures attention Let me know what you think! And also, be sure to check out Studio Bucky, which just launched this week 👏 --- Huge thanks to our sponsor Gelt - worry-free tax management for you AND your firm! Go check them out and mention that you heard about them from the Growthitect podcast for 10% off :)

“The Market” is irrelevant. “Expensive” is a fear. “Fair” is subjective. If client and the architect both agree on a fee… Whether it’s $1k or $1MM… Whether it’s 3% or 30%… Whether it’s $1/sq ft or $1k/sq ft… Then THAT is the value of your service. Stop looking for external validation. Stop settling for commoditized market fees. Stop thinking that “fair” has a price. It doesn’t. Charge your value.

You are not defined by your: - Working hours - Certifications - Licensure - Employer - Position - Degree - Awards - Income - GPA You are defined by your: - Adaptability - Willingness - Motivations - Learnability - Curiosity - Morality - Ideas Don’t get them confused. You are brilliant because of who you are, not what you do.

Architects: Design is not your differentiator. Your clients don't understand design like you do. You must meet them on their terms, speak their language, and address their needs. Design is the tool to get the client the outcome they want, but you must communicate that value in a way that benefits them. Architects - you know this is true. Your website should have a different focus👇 ATTRACTING CLIENTS AND CREATING OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUR BUSINESS. That's a fundamentally different approach from impressing other architects. Shift your focus from impressing architects to creating opportunities if you want your website to actually bring in business. Not sure how to do that? I provide practical business advice and education to help architects create thriving practices.

How do you react when you hear "no" from a potential client? Do you feel disappointed? Or do you take it as a learning opportunity? I had the pleasure of sitting down with Tyler Suomala, founder of Growthitect, for our recent 20 Game Changers in 20 Days video series. And in this video, we're bringing you something a little bit different... We're chatting all about sales. If you're an architect who's ever struggled with selling yourself, or would like to improve this part of your business, you're going to want to tune in. 👉 Watch the full clip now at archibiz(.)global/watch

Friendly reminder that nobody knows what they’re doing. I’ve been fortunate to connect with many people that I look up to. Not one person: → Has it all figured out. → Always has the right answer. → Knows with certainty what’s next. → Fills their time only doing things they love. → Feels like they manage time effectively every day. The only difference is that these unknowns never stopped them from trying. And trying. And trying. And trying. Sometimes progress doesn’t feel like it has a direction. Keep going anyways. ----- ✍️ What’s your take on this? ♻️ Reshare if you agree.

Arcol is moving FAST. Modeling? Check. Data? Check. Documentation? Instant. No more manual data entry and disconnected feasibility workflows. Arcol is the only feasibility tool for architects with instant, one-click documentation - complete your WHOLE feasibility workflow with one tool. Plus, Paul and his team are one of my favorites in AEC: → Regularly pushing up new features. → Always putting together fun events. → Heavily focused on user feedback. So thankful for the 2024 Arcol x Growthitect partnership!
