Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity
Non-profit Organization Management
Providing and preserving affordable homeownership in Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks & Marion County.
About us
Seeking to put God’s love into action, Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. We envision a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Since 1987, Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity has helped more than 965 families globally relocate from substandard and poverty housing into decent and affordable homes. Almost 600 of these homeowners are here in our community of Greater Indianapolis and more than 380 are in Central America. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. The foundations laid by Habitat go far beyond the physical structure of a home. Habitat for Humanity builds strength, stability, and independence through homeownership. To learn more or get involved, visit indyhabitat.org.

Last Friday, we came together with Fox 59 News and volunteers from GEMCO Constructors, Pella Windows & Doors of Northern Indiana, and Bassett Services to take part in Dana’s journey toward homeownership. With many hands working side by side, the panels of Dana's future home took shape, bringing her dream one step closer to reality. We’re incredibly grateful to Dana for letting us be part of her story, and we look forward to celebrating her achievement of stability and homeownership in the end. ⬇ Click to read more about the day and Dana's story! https://lnkd.in/e8eTk6bE
