The #ICGH2024, held from September 11-13, 2024, inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, attracted over 8,500 delegates, including 3,000 youth and students. It also featured an exhibition showcasing innovations in the #GreenHydrogen sector, inaugurated by the Hon’ble Minister of New and Renewable Energy, Shri Pralhad Venkatesh Joshi, and Hon’ble Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, unveiling the exhibits. #ICGH24 showcased an innovative GH2THON Hackathon, a thought-provoking #GH2 quiz, poster competition on Hydrogen & Fuel Cells Research, & an engaging youth session featuring Saina Nehwal. Furthermore, over 22 breakout sessions were spread across the three days, alongside 10 country roundtables and one CEO roundtable. The event provided an in-depth exploration of #GreenHydrogen’s potential through seven plenary sessions that addressed technological advancements, policy frameworks, and strategies for scaling up production and infrastructure. He shed light on the challenge of integrating various pilot programs and decentralised projects into one movement for development.
