🌟JCHI is proud to support the MoM-Health project at UC San Diego through our P10000 initiative! This research uses innovative biological measures to tackle high blood pressure during and after pregnancy. As part of NIH's MOHD Consortium, we're uncovering critical links between hypertensive disorders and postpartum health. Participants use at-home blood pressure cuffs synced with EMRs to monitor risks. Together, we aim to predict cardiovascular disease and improve maternal health outcomes! “Innovative care and clinical trials have allowed me to watch my kids grow up.” Watch this powerful video of UC San Diego Health ‘s Michelle Brubaker ‘s breast cancer journey of going from worrier to warrior! #breastcancerawarenessmonth #innovation #science ⬇️
It will forever be my most personal and meaningful project I have produced at UC San Diego Health. I am now seven years out and living fully. During breast cancer awareness month, please remember to make that mammogram appointment (early detection saves lives), know and check your body (you know it best), know your family history (on both sides), do genetic testing (critical knowledge for you and your loved ones), be your own health advocate (find a medical team who values this) and get care at a hospital system that offers you the most advanced options (innovative care and clinical trials have allowed me to watch my kids grow up). #breastcancerawarenessmonth 🎀 #breastcancersurvivor 🩷 Producing partner 🎥 Eric Neri #emmynominated 🌟

AI has the potential to revolutionize #healthcare, but it’s important to approach this innovation thoughtfully. The below article by Claire Trageser in San Diego Magazine takes a deep dive into this topic. It features insights from JCHI's Christopher Longhurst and Gabriel Wardi, MD, UC San Diego Health, about why we need real-world, outcomes-based #AI models to truly understand its impact. Other insights ▶ Eric Topol, MD, Scripps Research; Jessica de Souza, UC San Diego; Laurel D. JCHI is excited to announce the launch of Willo, our groundbreaking mobile app focused on student wellness! We’ve co-developed this unique app in-house with UC San Diego students to enhance access to #mentalhealth support and promote proactive #wellness strategies on campus. Why this app is unique: Our smart integration of #AI delivers personalized, on-demand access to essential campus resources. Willo’s intuitive system aggregates students' unique interests and goals, customizing recommendations for services and apps tailored just for them. With features like health analytics and motivational incentives, we’re breaking down barriers to mental health support while encouraging active engagement and self-management. One of our missions at JCHI is to develop technology solutions with impact at scale. That's exactly what we've done with Willo. We launched this groundbreaking app last week to 40,000 students at UC San Diego as part of a pilot study, with plans to expand access to all students, and eventually to scale to other universities. Over 100 collaborators worked on this amazing technology project, led by JCHI's Nicole May, MHSA, PMP and Heidi Rataj. Big congrats to the whole team! Read more ⬇ https://lnkd.in/gEYvcyx8
