One of the benefits of living in a state with a thriving manufacturing industry is that a small company like MetalFab in a small area like Oscoda County, can grow to become a key player in a global industry. Kyle Yoder, now running his family business, explains that his company, which produces tubes and hoses for nearly all of the major automotive companies, has an advantage over the competition. Their small size helps them to be collaborative and agile, while being a drivable distance from many of their clients. In short, their advantage is Oscoda County, where Kyle has called home his entire life. He explains that running a business in a small town means a lot to him because their work makes a big difference in the local economy, while enabling him and his employees to have a great quality life close to the outdoors. https://lnkd.in/gtgDw67x
