MKDA at NeoCon 2024! Members of our design team had an amazing experience at NeoCon 2024, the premier trade show in Chicago showcasing the latest innovations in commercial design. Our Creative Director, Lisbeth Jimenez, meticulously documented the emerging trends. Here's a sneak peek: 🌈 Diverse colors and patterns: soft pinks, warm hues, mint green, and pops of royal blue.  🔶 Innovative shapes and forms: non-standard tabletops for more functional environments.  🌿 Blurring the lines between nature and design: an abundance of plants and animals.  🎨 Captivating showroom designs: bold multi-color schemes, gradient rainbow accents, retro-inspired patterns, and neon lighting. We can’t wait to incorporate these creative solutions into our projects this year! Stay tuned for more updates.  #MKDADesigns #NeoCon2024 #DesignTrends #CommercialDesign #Innovation #InteriorDesign #CreativeSolutions #SustainableDesign

Field Trip Finale! The final stop on our NY Designer Field Trip with Lane Office was the stunning Marie Zimmermann Estate. Nestled on a plateau over the river and beneath the Pocono escarpment, this National Historic Landmark is a true gem about 5.75 miles south of Milford in Delaware Township. Designed between 1910 and 1912 by Marie Zimmermann and her father, John, this Dutch Colonial Revival with Breton touches features native block stone and New England slate. The estate's beauty and history left our team brimming with fresh design inspiration! #MKDA #LaneOffice #FieldTrip #MarieZimmermannEstate #DesignInspiration #HistoricLandmark #TeamBuilding #Architecture #Creativity

Our next stop on the NY designer trip with Lane Office: Grey Towers in Milford, PA! Built in 1886 as the Pinchot family's summer estate, it later became the home of Gifford Pinchot, America's first forester and founder of the USDA Forest Service. James Pinchot, a pioneer in conservation, inspired his son Gifford to pursue forestry. Gifford made history by establishing and serving as the first Chief of the US Forest Service and being elected Governor of Pennsylvania twice. Grey Towers was a hub of activity, advancing the Pinchots' social, political, and conservation ideals. In 1963, the family donated Grey Towers and its 102 acres to the US Forest Service.   Our design team left feeling inspired by the greenery and conservation efforts they experienced at Grey Towers and hope to implement what they learned on the tours in their designs at MKDA.  Stay tuned for more from our designer trip! #GreyTowers #Conservation #GiffordPinchot #USForestService #NYDesignerTrip #HistoricalHomes #MKDADesigns

Our NY design team at MKDA joined forces with Lane Office for an inspiring field trip! Starting in Sandyston, NJ, we made our way to the whimsical Luna Parc. 🛤️✨ Luna Parc is an incredible home, transformed into a mixed media art wonderland by the talented Ricky Boscarino since 1989. Spread over 6 acres, it’s made and decorated entirely out of breathtaking works of metal, clay, glass, wood, and cement. 🎨🏡 Our team takes quarterly field trips for team building and a burst of creative inspiration. Stay tuned this week to discover where we ventured on the next legs of our journey through Milford, PA! 🚀 #MKDAdesigns #LaneOffice #FieldTrip #TeamBuilding #Inspiration #LunaParc #Art #Design #Creativity

MKDA provided the full scope of design services for Bank Policy Institute, located at 1300 Eye Street in the heart of Washington, DC 🏛️. Our team embraced the rich historical context surrounding the area, infusing it into every aspect of the design.
