About us

At Mountain View Hospital we are committed to the health and improvement of human life. We honor this commitment by treating each patient as though they are a close family member at our 124 plus bed facility. Mountain View Hospital offers invaluable expertise gained from delivering exceptional patient care since 1979. We may not be bigger, but we strive to be better as our hospital is dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare. Our over 200 physicians and medical professionals, as well as over 500 employees and volunteers, care for over 9,500 patients each year. We meet that standard through changes in upgrading technology and advanced procedures. While these changes may be constant, our tradition of caring and healing will never fade. We are part of the HCA Healthcare network which includes more than 300 affiliate facilities across the country which offers our colleagues the opportunity for travel and relocation. HCA Healthcare and Mountain View Hospital are all about caring for people. That care extends to every one of our patients, families, and our colleagues. HCA Healthcare has been named one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies by Ethisphere Institute for ten consecutive years (2010-2019). In 2019, HCA Healthcare spent an estimated $3.7 billion in cost for the delivery of charitable care, uninsured discounts, and other uncompensated expenses.

  • 🐝We're excited to share that Linda Peterson, one of our Patient Care Technicians in the ER, has been honored as a recipient of the BEE Award! This award honors and celebrates caregivers for their dedicated work of caring. 🐝 Our BEE Award honorees demonstrate the PETALS 🌻 principles: -Passion and compassion in the care they provide every day -Establishes a special connection through use of kindness and sincerity -Teamwork -Always creates the best experience for their patients -Love for their job -Shows respect 💗Recently Linda worked nearly twice her normal shift in order to provide additional coverage on an exceptionally busy day in the ER. She was finally about to leave when we had yet another ambulance radio that they were coming in with a patient. She stayed to register the patient (while getting an IV started on a walk-in patient). The patients just never stopped coming and Linda never stopped working. She could have easily left on time, but stayed to help out the team, and to ensure that patients had the care that they needed, when they needed it. 💗 Congratulations and thank you Linda for your incredible work!!! --- Patients, visitors, and caregivers may nominate a deserving caregiver for the BEE Award by submitting a nomination form here: https://lnkd.in/gVwtyZxF 💻

  • 🌟 Yesterday nurse Rodger Crowe was recognized with the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses. https://bit.ly/3T3NPn9 🌟 Rodger was nominated for the award by House Supervisor Kelsie, who said, "I was stopped in the hallway today by two daughters of a patient on ortho who were in tears over the exceptional care that they have received here. Their father had a knee surgery and they report that this experience was far better than the last knee surgery that he had at another hospital in the area. They said that every minute here, from check in, to the OR, to discharge, they have all felt like they were important. Their father was afraid to have the surgery because of his last experience, but he has been “smiling ear to ear” every step of the way here because of the kindness and competence of the people." "They complimented housekeeping, physical therapy, and nursing staff- specifically Rodger. Each and every nurse has been amazing but Rodger has gone above and beyond. He is quick to answer the call light and shows up with a smile, always asking if there is anything else he can do before he leaves the room. If Rodger says that he will be right back with something, he literally comes right back. They are so impressed and will definitely come here again. I am so proud!" 💙 Congratulations Rodger! Thanks for taking such good care of patients and families, and for making Mountain View Hospital one of the best places for knee surgery!* *According to Healthgrades: https://bit.ly/3T1vze3 🏥
