What a great opportunity to speak at the The Nest Climate Campus during #climateweek in NYC with Crystal Windham and Kathi Walker from General Motors. For architect & designer Sophie Dries, Reishi™ is a material that has already lived many lives. Inspired by sheets featuring natural mottling and streaks, Sophie is creating a large brutalist mirror conceived of Reishi™ and Corten tubes – a self-patinated metal much used in Land Art – that balances the delicate, radical, and primitive nature of both materials.
