It was a pleasure to keynote Notable’s annual conference in San Francisco this year. I talked about transformation being a journey and shared four specific use cases where AI has helped us drive better patient experience and outcomes. My colleagues Dr. Gene Hong, Crystal Broj and Franco Cardillo represented our work so thoughtfully on panel discussions throughout the event. And, MUSC won an impact award for our work in scaling AI to transform health care. Really proud of our organization and the thousands of MUSC employees and clinicians who have embraced this work (more than 700 clinics!). Huge shout out to Cory Robinson, PhD, MHA, PMP, FACHE and Alison Lynch, MHA, PMP for their leadership. It was also great spending time with and learning from health care leaders like Robert Wachter, who coined the term hospitalist, and Toby Cosgrove, former CEO of Cleveland Clinic. Change is hard but together we go far! Thank you Pranay Kapadia, Aaron Neinstein, MD, FAMIA, Hollie Vugrinovich and the entire Notable crew for your partnership.

By working alongside practitioners across the continuum, they are redefining what is possible in an era driven by deep learning and technology. Notable's approach simplifies key areas such as gap closure, payment collection, reallocation of hours, and patient engagement, helping healthcare organizations better serve their patients. 🌠   With over 38M patients served, 1.5M tasks automated every day, and creating the capacity of ~100 FTEs for one organization in 18 months, Notable is unlocking new levels of efficiency. The administrative burden in healthcare is only expected to grow, and their innovative solutions are paving the way for a more sustainable future. The event was structured to foster relationship building, shared learnings, and collaboration, making it a fantastic venue to collectively shape the future of healthcare. 🏥 #TWH #Notable Pranay Kapadia Aaron Neinstein, MD, FAMIA Justin White Caitlin Ursini Kevin Field Kurt Federer Hollie Vugrinovich Samuel Kenney 🏞 Tarah Neujahr Bryan Edward Marx Reid Stephan Craig Joseph MD, FAAP, FAMIA Adam Cherrington Marijka Grey, MD, MBA, FACP Daniel B. My Reflections from an Exclusive NYC Gathering: AI-Powered Automation: Shaping the Workforce of Tomorrow in Healthcare What a night. We recently hosted an intimate dinner in Manhattan, bringing together industry luminaries like Annie Lamont and Toby Cosgrove alongside executives from the top health systems in the region. The energy was palpable as we dove deep into the critical topic on everyone’s mind: how AI and automation can relieve healthcare’s crushing administrative burdens and workforce challenges. A couple of takeaways still resonate with me. First, the shared urgency across the room to tackle these challenges head-on with technology was undeniable. Everyone agreed: the status quo isn’t sustainable. Second, while there’s widespread recognition that AI is the solution, there’s still uncertainty about how to move forward. The wave is coming — but getting everyone on board, from clinical to operational leadership, starts at the top and will be key to making it happen. Walking out of the room, I was left energized and optimistic by my time in New York. I believe the NYC metro market will be the pioneering grounds for AI-driven automation in healthcare. This is clearly a region that gets it - and I can’t wait to lead the way for the rest with every partner in the region. At Notable, we’re laser-focused on this once-in-a-generation opportunity to change the trajectory of healthcare productivity and outcomes. As Steve Jobs said, computers are a “bicycle for the mind,” but we believe Transformers (the T in GPT) are the rocketship for humanity. The time to launch in healthcare is now. Thank you Brendan G. 🔦 Partner spotlight: How Augusta Health (MEDITECH) uses AI and automation to bridge the technology gap and make healthcare more accessible for all its patients. The community-based health system needed help with its time-consuming and error-prone pre-registration process. When information is incorrect, patients experience delays in care, and the organization faces costly denials. Augusta Health knew going digital wasn’t enough; they needed a solution that had a two-way integration with their EHR to ensure the accurate, real-time flow of data between pre-registration and patient records. Since partnering with Notable to deploy its automated digital intake experience, they’ve freed up staff capacity to focus on more complex work and empowered patients to easily prepare for care. - 7 minutes saved per intake - $395,000 in annual savings - 90%+ patient satisfaction rate Augusta Health’s senior patients are benefiting, too, with over 50% digital completion rates among those aged 65-84 – closing the patient access gap.
