We have awarded Sight Savers America an $80,000 grant to assist 24 middle and high school-age youth in SC living with severe visual impairment and blindness by providing high-tech vision assistive equipment and blindness aids for personal use. Helping Hands is making a significant impact in the lives of #Georgetown youth and families, reporting a 100% graduation rate where 90% of students went on to a two- or four-year college/university and the remaining 10% enlisted in the military or entered the workforce. This is a great opportunity for SC #nonprofits and #municipalities, especially those serving rural communities!
