Thank you to the Ohio Energy Conference for putting together a great panel with P2H2 Chief Commercial Officer Alex Zorniger, ARCH2 Hub Director Shawn Bennett, and Brite Programs Director Jing Lyon! Ohio holds great potential for decarbonization with clean hydrogen and for being a leader in the supply chain and manufacturing of these critical energy technologies. Leveraging the automotive supply chains in Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania will be essential for America to lead in this rapidly growing industry. It's great to see hydrogen continue to be a key topic for the Ohio Energy ecosystem as a whole.

Funding Alert! 🎉 We're excited to announce that Power to Hydrogen has been awarded $1M from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to help scale up our electrode synthesis process. 🏆 As part of the new Roll-to-Roll consortium, leading technology developers in the hydrogen space will partner with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory to conduct cooperative research on component scale-up. The overall funding goal is to advance efficient, scalable, high-throughput, and high-quality processes for manufacturing fuel cell and electrolyzer materials. 👏 Thank you to the DOE and NREL for this incredible opportunity to scale up our proprietary hydrogen technology and decarbonize industrial processes across the globe!

Power to Hydrogen is proud to be named as a finalist for the Grid Catalyst 2025 Demonstration Cohort, alongside eight other exceptional energy startups. This unique program, sponsored by Cummins Inc., Trane, CenterPoint Energy, and more, focuses on pilots, which can help bring our low-cost electrolysis technology to the market faster and more effectively. These companies are looking for lower-cost clean hydrogen produced from renewable resources, and we are ready to meet that challenge. We are excited to pitch to the Innovators Network partners for an opportunity to show what our tech can do. Thanks to Grid Catalyst and Minnesota Energy Alley for this opportunity.

What does the energy landscape look like for the future of the Midwest in the United States? How can U.S. manufacturers maintain global competitiveness while making their products more sustainable? What key skill sets are needed for the next decade in advanced manufacturing? These were some of the most engaging questions at The Ohio Manufacturers' Association's closing panel on Ohio Technology and Resources. Thank you for inviting P2H2 Chief Commercial Officer Alex Zorniger to join and share his thoughts on these critical issues of the future!

We are excited to announce that we've been selected to participate in the Plug & Play Smart Cities Accelerator based in Orlando. Plug and Play Smart Cities conducted a search across the nation for startups that can become a driver of urban planning and innovation. We are honored to be included as part of the 2024 cohort. Areas of focus include: Mobility, IoT, Real Estate & Construction, and Energy & Sustainability. During the program, we'll work with corporate sponsors like Duke Energy, Nextera, and others to define opportunities to make our cities cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable.

Today marks the next phase at Power to Hydrogen as we announce the closing of our Series A fundraising round. A total of $18M in new capital is coming to Power to Hydrogen from leading financial and industrial investors across the globe, along with U.S. and European government support. Rev1 Ventures and Worthington Enterprises are leading the investment round. “We welcome an excellent mix of new investors, including the leading investor in the Midwest of the United States, two of the most successful hydrogen investors over the last decade, and strategic partners spanning Australia, Japan, North America, and Europe,” said Power to Hydrogen Founder and CEO, Dr. Paul Matter. The world needs to bring down the cost of hydrogen technologies at each stage of the value chain. Power to Hydrogen's low-cost electrolyzers, which tie directly into renewable energy and produce high-pressure hydrogen (250 bar), can reduce CAPEX and inefficiencies at each level of the hydrogen production, storage, and transportation process. The Series A funding will go towards demonstrating these capabilities in commercial projects at the industrial scale. You can find the full news release here: https://lnkd.in/eA8QX7y9 Thank you to Finindus, JERA Co., Inc., Asahi Kasei, INP Capital, American Electric Power, EDP Ventures, E.ON, ESB, and Realize Impact for joining the round and showing your belief in the technology. We also want to thank BRITE Energy Innovators, Third Derivative, Free Electrons Program, SecondMuse, Greentown Labs, Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship, Plug and Play Tech Center, Cleantech Open, Startup Basecamp, and many others for supporting us along the way. We would not have been able to achieve this milestone without your support and expert guidance over the past few years.

Thanks to Plug and Play Tech Center for inviting P2H2 VP of Business Development, Alex Zorniger, to speak at the Plug and Play Smart Cities event earlier this week! It was a great event, bringing regional utilities, governments, and public services together to design efficient and sustainable communities for the future. We enjoyed the opportunity to speak about how these groups should be thinking about hydrogen for their energy storage and large-scale mobility needs. Thanks for giving us the opportunity, Suyash Mohan!

Who's in Dallas at the ARPA-E Summit? We'll be there all week at booth #1118 with COO Chris Holt and Director of Engineering Travis Hery. Come find us to talk about reducing the cost of clean hydrogen production and transportation with high pressure electrolysis. Thanks for joining us at the booth Infinite Composites! We love a good carbon fiber pressure vessel demo.

Hello Europe 🇪🇺 🇧🇪. Big news for our company today. We have signed a contract with the Port of Antwerp-Bruges to install our first industrial scale AEM electrolyzer in a relevant industrial environment! Site prep is already underway, and this project should mark the first commercial installation of an industrial scale AEM electrolysis stack in the world. The project is also being supported by the Free Electrons Program and leading global utilities American Electric Power, EDP, E.ON, and ESB. The Port of Antwerp is an ideal location our first industrial scale system. The port already has a large local market for hydrogen and will be a major hub for hydrogen in the future. Our goal is to demonstrate the technology in this industrial environment, then establish larger operations in the port. This project will also serve as a major piece of validation for our larger clean hydrogen projects across the globe. Thank you to Marleen Ramakers, Dries Van Gheluwe, and Philip Huybrechts for guiding our project through the approval process at the Port.
Innovation is 🔑! This week, Power to Hydrogen and TripleW became the first concessionaires to sign for NextGen Demo. This innovation hub in Antwerp allows companies to develop and test demo projects regarding energy transition and circularity. Three other companies have embarked on a preparation process, in which they will receive support for up to 1 year to develop and refine their projects. Therefore, H2SITE, HSL Technologies (HySiLabs) and Aquature Ltd have signed a Letter of Intent. Read more on ♻️ https://lnkd.in/esZpYwmZ. #Innovation #NextGen
