We see builders looking into nuclear not only at hyperscale levels for big-tech users, but for containerized micro data centers paired with Kaleidos reactors too. This combination will allow small-to-medium-sized businesses scale data needs flexibly and on time, while also meeting their clean energy goals. With increasing demands on power generation, it's more important than ever to invest in clean-power technologies including micro and small modular reactors. As the The Wall Street Journal reports today, tech companies are "willing to pay a premium for nearly uninterrupted, carbon-free power". Congratulations to the team that assembled, and pressure-proof tested our passive cooldown test pressure vessel! The vessel successfully passed a hydrostat test where it was pressurized to 1.3x its rated pressure. This milestone brings us closer to our test this summer. Onwards!

We're pleased to announce our completion and approval of the Conceptual Design Review of Kaleidos Microreactor in the National Reactor Innovation Center | NRIC Demonstration of Microreactor Experiments (NRIC-DOME) test bed. Completing the Conceptual Design Review is a major step in Radiant’s journey, moving us significantly closer to a fueled test and entry of Kaleidos into licensing and commercial service. This is an exciting year for Radiant, as Kaleidos makes tremendous strides toward our goal of testing the first new reactor design in more than 50 years, bringing Kaleidos closer to commercial reality. We're pleased to announce the completion and approval of Radiant’s Safety Design Strategy (SDS) for the Kaleidos microreactor in the National Reactor Innovation Center | NRIC Demonstration of Microreactor Experiments (NRIC-DOME) test bed at Idaho National Laboratory. The SDS is the cornerstone of the safety roadmap our team is building as we approach commercialization of a fueled reactor in a few years’ time and the first stage in a comprehensive safety review process each microreactor developer undertakes prior to a fueled test at the DOME.
