The global grains and oilseeds research team, led by Global Strategist Stephen Nicholson, recently traveled to the heart of the U.S. corn belt—visiting Iowa, Illinois and Missouri 🌽 They explored how national policies shape the U.S. farming financial industry. The team also met with farmers specializing in corn and soy, who mixed their enterprises with cattle, feedlots and pork production. A key takeaway was that producers in the region are looking to boost revenue by leveraging certified non-deforested soy trade with the EU and low-emissions grains for sustainable aviation fuel.
