With our brand partners' amazing support and Impact Partners V-Recycle, we’ve stepped things up—moving to a larger material recovery facility and using more advanced tech to recover 3x more plastic waste than before! And it’s not just about the plastic—this growth is also helping create dignified and reliable livelihoods for the local community. The waste worker team involved in the project has expanded from 25 to 41 employees. Together, we’re making an impact beyond plastic recovery and paving the way for a cleaner, more sustainable future.

A major step forward in sustainable baby care! 🌟 We're proud to partner with HealthyBaby as they introduce the first-ever EWG Verified Safe newborn diaper, crafted to protect both delicate newborn skin and the environment. Huge congratulations to HealthyBaby on this exciting launch! All of HealthyBaby's diapers are Certified Plastic Neutral in partnership with rePurpose Global. This means that for every diaper sold, an equivalent amount of plastic waste is recovered, preventing it from polluting our ecosystems. 🌍

Along with our brand partners, the rePurpose Global coalition is driving One Planet Impact which safeguards the environment, uplifts communities, and empowers people to build a sustainable future. These waste warriors are critical to our impact, and we are committed to improving their livelihoods as they help recover millions of pounds of plastic waste. Wrapping up the #PlasticRealityProject: reflections from the final day. We had the pleasure of introducing Jabir Karat from Green Worms to the attendees. Jabir is a changemaker in waste management and ethical employment, our partner for Project Hara Kal, and an all-round hero whose dedication to creating sustainable solutions is inspiring. We then joined the door-to-door waste collection in the neighborhood - supported by Project Hara Kal and our partner brands. We followed the waste's journey to the Material Recovery Facility. There we saw how plastic waste is sorted, and found a renewed appreciation for the work happening behind the scenes to fight plastic pollution. One of the best parts of the day was the warm welcome from the waste warriors. Their pride in the work they do was contagious. We also had a special lunch — a traditional Kerala meal served on banana leaves — which felt like a perfect nod to eco-friendly living. We ended the day with some fun: tug of war and musical chairs with the waste warriors. The energy, laughter, and simple joy of those moments were unforgettable. Last but not least, we gathered for closing circles. Hearing everyone’s personal stories and takeaways over the course of this week has been incredibly moving, and today's shared reflections on what this journey meant to us was no different. This experience aims to change how people think about plastic waste, and to inspire hope through some of the incredible people and solutions that are working to solve this crisis. We’re leaving with new friends, deeper partnerships, and a stronger commitment to making a difference.
