Here's the link : https://lnkd.in/geQs9C6c Many people worry that AI might replace agents, but the truth is, AI is here to assist, not replace. It’s natural to be concerned about job security in contact centres, especially in a country like the Philippines where BPOs contribute over 8% of the GDP. But here's the thing: Contact centres are powerhouses, and the agents are the backbone of this massive industry. They bring a unique blend of IQ and EQ that AI can’t replicate. We’re still a long way from a world where AI replaces agents. Right now, AI is here to assist, not replace. I’ve founded two AI startups, Observe.AI and Sanas, focused on enabling agents in BPOs. Additionally, I’ve invested in dozens of startups that are impacting the lives of contact centre agents with AI. While the podcast discussed concerns about job shifts from the Philippines to Africa, my perspective is different. At Sanas, we’re creating jobs in the Philippines and India and driving growth in the BPO sector. This growth and job creation are independent of government investments or efforts.
