Join us for: Get WEIRD to Plan Your Career Workshop Wednesday, July 17 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM PDT In this 90-minute live workshop, based on Cee Reel's WEIRD process, you'll learn to plan for your next promotion, job or industry change, or side hustle launch in line with your energy, authenticity and values. You may recognize Cee from our Empowered Career Storytelling event about telling your connecting the dots in your non-linear career journey. Now, it’s time to take action steps to create a career you love! Empowered Career Storytelling is not a prerequisite; whether you attended that event or not, there will be valuable takeaways for you in this workshop. *How you’ll move through the WEIRD process in this workshop: *Want to Change: What’s blocking you from moving toward your desired outcome full force? Learn to identify and address hidden blockers and make a plan of action. *Educate on Solutions: Discover the details of what's possible within your plan and gather the energy, motivation and support you need to make it happen. *Ideate and Implement: Create a test or experiment that takes you closer to your desired outcome and track how it feels. Reflect and Refine: Know what to do when outcomes differ from expectations. Deliver on Your Dream: Clarify your vision to set your optimal path to success. Each step will be accompanied by an actionable exercise and a chance to complete the exercise live 1:1 with Cee! Bring your curiosity and playfulness and you might surprise yourself! Monday, July 1 12pm CT *Free for Members Learn more and register here: https://lu.ma/ot6auqb8 Join Transition and Leadership Coach, Rachel Kourakos, as she unveils the ins and outs of the frameworks and questions you should ask yourself when considering a change in your career. In this eye-opening talk, Rachel will guide you through a journey of self-discovery and empowerment, helping you learn about yourself and what is important to consider to make informed decisions about your career.  When it comes to your career, timing is everything. There are moments when you will want to stick it out to make the most of your current position and there are times when you will have to make the call to change your circumstances. This is not a talk dedicated to helping you figure out what you want (although that will be a great by-product) but rather to know when to make a change by challenging you to ask yourself the questions that will help you create clarity. You will walk away with: *Greater self-awareness and confidence in what you want *Inspiring stories and examples of career transitions (personal to Rachel & her clients) *Tangible tools and frameworks (that you can work with immediately) to help you reflect *New ways of understanding your past experiences *Key questions that you can ask yourself to assess your role now and in the future *Productive mindsets that will support your career development and growth  *Clarity on whether you want to double down where they are or if you want to consider making a change

✨ A Remarkable Day at PepsiCo's HQ ✨ Last Thursday, we had an incredible event at PepsiCo’s corporate headquarters, bringing together an amazing group of women in tech from the Tech Ladies community. It was a day filled with inspiring stories, insightful discussions, and powerful networking opportunities! 🌟 Highlights of the Event: - Networking: Attendees had the chance to connect with fellow Tech Ladies along with PepsiCo's Talent Acquisition team (shoutout to Kaylah B., Andrew Failace, and many others for making the event possible!) to build some meaningful professional relationships! - Panel Discussion: We conducted a dynamic panel featuring Laxmi Anish, Hetal Gaglani, and Rohit Mahindru who shared some amazing insights into life at PepsiCo, being a female leader in tech and beyond 🚀 A huge thank you to PepsiCo for hosting us and for their commitment to supporting women in the technology sector. Your dedication to diversity and inclusion is truly commendable. To all the amazing women (including Melody Vo, Jesslyn Palmer, Tasnim Dulla and many, many more) who attended, your energy and passion was truly inspiring. Let’s continue to support each other, push boundaries, and achieve great things! #WomenInTech #TechLadies #PepsiCo #DiversityInTech #TexansInTech

Join us for a FREE event with Alison Taffel Rabinowitz! Get A Job and Grab the Bag: Negotiation Master Class Wednesday, June 12 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM PDT Register here: https://lu.ma/x4me5omf This class is designed to help you articulate your value and stop leaving money on the table!  Are you underpaid and undervalued and ready to look for a new job?  Are you unemployed and want to make up for the money you lost with a huge raise? Do you have trouble advocating for yourself because you can’t find the right words? Do you always just say yes to the first offer?  Do you lack the confidence to negotiate even though you know you’re worth more?  Do you agree that spending less sucks and making more money would be much more fun?  This class will teach you the best practices to increase your salary and total compensation, including:  *position yourself as a top performer *how to do research around salary *what to say when they ask your salary range *how to respond when they low-ball you *how to handle yearly reviews with managers *and more… Remember, every successful salary negotiation is a cumulative benefit, and your salary will almost always continue to increase from there. If you negotiate a $5,000 salary increase for your first job, that single salary negotiation will be worth tens of thousands of dollars to you over your lifetime. If you never negotiate, you could lose over $600,000 or more by the time you're 60. There's no better time to learn and earn thousands of dollars more than your original offer in just a five-minute conversation or email.
