135 Years of Boldt: 2020 In celebration of 135 years of building boldly, we are taking a look back over the years. In 2020, Boldt and the entire construction industry said goodbye as Oscar C. Boldt passed away at age 96. Oscar's leadership and vision transformed The Boldt Company into one of the leading construction management and general construction firms in the country. His legacy of dedication, entrepreneurship and business ethics continue to inspire us. Learn more about Boldt history: https://lnkd.in/gTcgAFAg #BuildBoldly #135Years #OscarCBoldt #BoldtHistory

Boldt is proud to be recognized as an Apprenticeship Ambassador through the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Apprenticeship (OA). We look forward to championing how registered apprenticeships are creating opportunities for a strong and diverse workforce not only within Boldt but also across the industry!
We are excited to welcome 138 new Apprenticeship Ambassadors, bringing our total to 441 since the initiative’s launch. During a White House ceremony, we recognized these organizations for their outstanding efforts to expand and diversify Registered #Apprenticeship Programs across emerging and high-growth industries like clean energy, healthcare and advanced manufacturing. Together, these ambassadors have held over 10,800 promotional activities, launched 520 new programs and hired more than 155,000 apprentices. A key focus has been outreach to underrepresented communities, with approximately 90% offering tailored programming. We look forward to collaborating with this latest cohort to continue modernizing Registered Apprenticeships and advancing workforce development. Next up: promoting these efforts during the 10th Annual National Apprenticeship Week in November. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/dTqJ_cVQ #WorkforceDevelopment #SkillsTraining

Day five of Construction Inclusion Week focuses on community engagement. Boldt's commitment to community is brought to life through our United Way campaign which kicks off today, as well as Boldt's Volunteer Time Off (VTO) benefit, which provides employees with eight hours of paid time off to volunteer at the non-profit(s) of their choice each year. Engaging in the community ensures the needs and voices of all stakeholders are heard, leading to more innovative, sustainable and equitable construction practices.
